Human impact and climate change: some issues

It’s contentious, it is an immense subject and it is written about widely from every standpoint. The consensus is now established however, that global climate is changing, and that human activity in post-industrial times has had, and continues to have an impact.

The arguments are becoming so pervasive that it is in many parties’ interests to proclaim a positive stance on climate change, on global warming, on emissions etc. New vested interests on either side are developing, and you will find a very healthy blogosphere on why climate change is a conspiratorial scam by the New World Order.

Be that as it may, there is a greater number of climate scientists convinced that the boundaries of historical and prehistorical fluctuations have been significantly breached in recent generations, and that tipping points of instability and positive feedback are being reached.

Our attention at h.e.s.e.-UK has been initially given to the electromagnetic environment, so for now, here we can only point you to some useful starting points in your evaluation of climate change.
