Support to Prof. Olle Johansson (Karolinska Institute)

Support to Professor Olle Johansson is urgently needed!

For some time I have been in contact with Professor Olle Johansson at the Karolinska Institute and the Royal Institute of Technology in the Swedish capital Stockholm. We have not met yet, but are at regular intervals exchanging mutual information per email. Thus,through our email correspondence I have come to appreciate the Professor more and more – not only as Research Scientist but also as a highly loveable human being.
Now, he has written an email to me that he has been asked to vacate his office at the
Karolinska Institute because it is to be used by somebody else. That his longstanding
workplace is now being taken away from him, the Scientist cannot understand, since – as he writes to me – the Institute has plenty of free premises.
Olle Johansson celebrates this year 30 years as Research Scientist. His specialist field is experimental dermatology and in his most important studies he proves how electromagnetic impacts can result in physical damage of the humane skin. For this reason, electro sensitive persons are especially devoted to him, because his research raises hopes among the persons affected and he does not shrink from communicating his views to the media, either.
Although Olle Johansson has already been attacked several times, he has remained
tenacious and tireless continued his scientific work. Therefore, we take it for granted that this is the reason why the Research Scientist must vacate his workplace – to get rid of a controversial fellow man.
Now it is for us to show solidarity with Professor Olle Johansson, and therefore we ask you to contribute with a letter, few words, to the President of the Karolinska Institute. Perhaps such letters can contribute to increase Olle Johansson’s chance of keeping his job, at least up to the time of his retirement.
It would definitely make an impression on the management of the Institute if it receives a great number of letters from different countries. For those who have not the time or energy to formulate a letter themselves, please enclosed find a model letter from us, which only needs your signature.
