A close call: Why the jury is still out on mobile phones (reply)

Is a rise in brain tumours linked to the radiation sources we hold so close to our heads? Experts can’t agree on the answer

Allegations of lobbying, bad science, not enough science, conflicts of interest, political inertia, scaremongering and lawsuits: the debate surrounding the safety of mobile phones has it all. With more than 5 billion users worldwide, mobile phones have undoubtedly become central to modern life in just two decades, but could they be a health hazard?

Scientists at the Children with Cancer conference in London this week will advocate that governments adopt the ‘precautionary principle’ – advising phone users to take simple steps to protect themselves and their children from potential, not proven, long term health risks of electromagnetic fields - especially head cancers.

D.Leszczynski Childhood Cancer 2012 (reply)

Strange enough I commented on his blog an recommended to download/read the IMHO most mportant book about the matterm brain cancer amn mobile phones, from my page:

http://microondes.wordpress.com/2010/04/17/robert-c-kane-cellular-telephone-russian-rou...

Albeit he published my comment he removed the hint as well as the link to the book! Honestly I'm not really sure about Dariusz Leszczynski.

It is just needed to read Robert C. Kane carefully, to know everything you need to know concerning brain cancer and mobile phones, it isn't that difficult.

Best regards

D.Leszczynski Childhood Cancer 2012 (reply)

Source of information
http://betweenrockandhardplace.wordpress.com/

Last week I participated in the Childhood Cancer 2012 conference organized by the Children with Cancer charity in London, UK.

It was an excellent conference, coveryng broad variety of issues. Hopefully soon the presentations, that were streamed live on internet, will be available for viewing again.

In the meanwhile, those interested may view slides from my own presentation here: Leszczynski Childhood Cancer 2012

Audio of my talk is available here, thanks to Mr. Henrik Eirikson: http://www.mast-victims.org/resources/audio/leszczynski-childhood-cancer-conf-25-04-201...

Following my talk, I received, from the prominent ICNIRP Main Committee member, the following evaluation of my presentation:

“I think you should get a new job!
You are wasting your time and ours!”

Someone else commented that I should be proud of such evaluation… Well, my only reason for doing what I am doing is to provide general public with as unbiased information as possible. Coin has two sides…

Slide that clarifies my last statement in London presentation slides about the Precutionary Principle recommendation:

Interview with Dr. Annie Sasco, MD, MPHS, MS, Dr PH

VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JyAlO_UdSk

24.04.2012 von Richard Bradford
Despite the voices of industry-funded scientists saying otherwise there is concrete evidence that mobiles/cellphones and wifi cause cancer in humans. In 2011 the IARC reclassified them as Class 2B, possibly carcinogenic, yet they actually had enough evidence if not the courage to go further and classify them as Class 2A, probably carcinogenic.

Here Dr Annie Sasco, Harvard Doctorate, ex-Head of the IARC on cancer research, ex-cancer specialist for the WHO and now group leader of an INSERM programme on cancer prevention in France, talks frankly in an exclusive interview about why we should be concerned - especially for children. Even if you don't use a mobile phone or wifi you are still affected. Watch this video for true facts, not industry-funded hype that there is no evidence of harm. It could save your life.

'The biggest experiment of our species'

'The biggest experiment of our species': With five billion mobile users in the world, conference calls for research into potential brain cancer risks
Scientists at London conference call for independent research into potential links between using a mobile phone and brain cancer
Figures from ONS show 50 per cent increase in brain tumours since 1999

Studies 'are split 50/50' in conclusions, leaving the issue open for debate
But believers fear fall-out from the 'biggest technological experiment in the history of our species'

A scientific conference starting in London today will urge governments across the world to support independent research into the possibility that using mobile phones encourages the growth of head cancers.
